In single band spiral brushes with an internal diameter of 5 mm upwards, the bristles are clamped down by a core thread in a U-shaped steel channel. These brushes are available in any length, with various channel widths and a full range of bristle materials. The single band design is suitable for practically every conceivable application.
Spiral brushes can be used wet or dry, can be aggressive or soft, work in temperatures ranging from abnormally high to abnormally low.
VERSATILE AND LONG-LASTING
The high level of bristle density means spiral brushes have a long lifespan. It is also possible to achieve a very smooth surface with this type of construction, important for cleaning applications to achieve totally clean surfaces.
Bristle density is, of course, dependent upon the application. Spiral brushes can be supplied with a shaft, constructed as a loose spiral or mounted on a thin walled tube. Spiral brushes can also be made with internal or external facing bristles, and can incorporate many types of bristle material, anything from nylon or glass fibre to horsehair, and brass or crimped steel wire.
There is a range of spiral brushes in two basic designs: single and double band.
